12/5/10

Part TWO of the PILGRIMAGE........

So, I got up at the crack of 11 - remember, after almost dying on the Interstate and driving for 23 hours, I didn't get into Fingers' pad till after 5 AM - and split for Brooklyn......... but not before Blondie made me a baller ass breakfast...... Thanks again for the hospitality - next time I hope I can stay longer.....

Got into Vander's borough just before the sun went down...... as always, it was good to see Vander, Kat and Knuckles.....got to relax a couple days and then on Monday Vander talked one of his homies, Trevor, into helping me sort my TRIKE frame out.......

Trevor has a rad work space with every tool you could imagine..... Vander and Trevor worked on my frame like it was theirs.... you know the kind of work that homies do.... not that "this will work" shit..... NOPE the "this is the SHIT" shit........... it was amazing and humbling........... Trevor, who I'd never met before treated me like an old friend....... he worked magic on my frame.............. Trevor is building a pretty sick Ironhead......... Thanks again man, if I don't see you before, BORN FREE 3 HERE WE COME!!!

Also, got to catch up with Nevette and Nugs.......... drink some beers......... and generally snuggle on Vander.

Well, the fun had to end some time...... I split Vander's on Wednesday and headed home.............. on the way I dropped by Mike D's place (wish I coulda stayed longer, homie)........ then went through VA to catch some rad shit from Jason - always good to see you homie...............

More TRIKE pictures later this week...... I gotta get my PAN sorted and then I'm mocking the LOVE MACHINE up...... it is gonna rule ALL!

The trip was a great chance to see a bunch of friends and get things going............ thanks again to everyone...... until next time......
