Finger Food Friday - Blind Faith

Hey all you weirdos, freaks and lurkers what the fuck is going on out there? Me? Chillin', waiting on the next box of Sweet Cocaine parts... it's coming along slowly haha.

Planning on going to Baltimore for the big 3 day swap meet (Timonium). Just what I need - I haven't seen any weirdos in awhile. Should be a jam up time.

I'm starting to get used to these fake teeth - it sucks.... I'm ready to get some blue RTV silicone and glue them in or maybe epoxy haha...

Well, I wrote about it and talked about it, I called my first chopper BLIND FAITH. Why? One album, one tour. Like life itself you don't get a do-over. You fuck up, you just move past it.

At the time I was building BLIND FAITH I had three court cases going, battling heroin addiction and flirting with PCP - alright I loved PCP but it didn't love me. A perfect time to build a chopper. I built that bike for about 1,100 bucks. At that time '81-83 things were cheap. A wishbone frame was $100 bucks, cone shovel $750, trany $100... you get the picture. It took longer than I wanted but some fucking judge had a vacation planed for me and I caught a one year bid.

Up to that point it was the most time I had ever served incarcerated. The time gave me a chance to get my head right and formulate a plan of attack for my chopper - my first H-D.

When I was released I hit it hard and within a couple months it was road worthy - not much to look at but I was in the wind. Burn outs and wheelies everywhere. I owned that bike for just under 20 years until it was stolen from me when I decided to leave the club I was in at the time - the Chosen Few. Seems they forgot to tell me that little tid bit (that the bike was the club's) when I signed up to be a solider in a fucked up world... oh well, it is only metal I told myself. Fuck, it was not worth dieing for. So, what did it look like well after a lot of digging I found some kool pictures...............

So were did the name come from? The punk rock godfather of Buffalo himself - Mark Freeland. It was Mark that turned me on to BLIND FAITH as a young kid "come down off your thrown and leave your body alone, you are the reason I've been waiting so long, and I'm wasted and I cant find my way home." Man, for me that hit me in the face. To this day it's one of my favorites. Well, check out the pics, go listen to some BLIND FAITH and I'll see next week........

Blind Faith = believing in something that is not there!!!!!!!!

Big love - Fingers, weirdo for life!

I got Blind Faith tatted across my back about ten years ago. Still my favorite tat. When people ask, I just say figure it out for yourself.
