It's not a new story... Wes is kinda new to the chopper game.... but he jumped in with both feet...

He's so amped on working on his bike that it makes you wanna help out....... He has built this thing in just over a month.... from a stock Ironhead to a righteous chopper almost ready to carry him into hell....... I gotta say it's lightyears ahead of my first bike..... and it's rad to have someone else around the lab that gets me stoked on working on shit.......

He just might even get it sorted before the BBQ......

Rideing to Brooklyn

1968 BSA Thunderbolt for sale $1800

Here we go....ive got a 1968 BSA Thunderbolt with a clear title. The bike was an ugly runner 2 years ago when it was pushed in the corner, and forgotten. i got it about a month ago, and have collected some parts to build it up as a skinny little awesome thing. Its the stock front loop, with a weld on hardtail. I was told the motor was rebuilt 1000 miles ago, with a new trans installed at the same time. Its got a 16" harley rim laced to the stock bsa hub, the stock front 19" with a cool drum brake. sitting on the frame now is a killer almost brand new hap jones tank, with an awesome solo seat with the harley wing emblem (brand escapes me at the moment) its got a weird round oil tank thats pretty cool, a short little trailer fender. three sets of pipes, and extra 6" over front end with another front wheel (vented single leading triumph looking thing, but its off a 70's thunderbolt). lets see....basically theres everything to build a real cool bike, plus some. i wasnt planning on selling it, but ive got an opportunity to get an awesome shovelhead, but i need to scare up a little cash. so heres the thing, if you want everything, the price is $1800. if you dont want to pay that, we start taking stuff out of the pile. the picture with my friend wes is with the hapjones tank and solo seat, sort of taken apart, the other picture is with an alien tank and trailer fender. pick up only, im not shipping all this. if you have any questions, please ask, and yes i can take more pictures later, just im not in my shop right now.

Brooklyn

I came, I saw, I got stoned, drunk, and basically the whole weekend seemed like one recurring party broken up by bike talk and artsy ladies saying that one of the bikes looked like an "alien's vagina" my question to her is how the fuck does she know what one looks like, and also another question...where can I find some. Still not sure if that was a compliment or what, but she did look like the teacher from The Magic School Bus, of course that also might have been just me being stoned. Met a lot of rad people, it was such a blur and I wish there was more opportunity to talk but it seemed like everything was moving so fast, I guess much like the city we were in. Always good to see my brothers from all over the place! Love you all, and of course Tim I'm real glad your new baby looks like your wife, because lets be honest....high school can be rough as it is, let alone if your child looks like you, love you brother, congratulations to you and Brandy!!! oh and I was reeal stoked on this viking helmet....thanks Vander!!

THE MINI LAB

First off... Big ol' congratulations to Tim and Brandy for the addition of their lovely new daughter, Claire, to the Death Science Family.  Can't wait to meet the little beauty in person.

 

Since the HOA here at our building wasn't cool with me using the dining room as a garage because it's an "insurance issue" I had to move 'er on downstairs to a little storage space I have dubbed the Mini Lab.  It's nowhere near as nice and expansive as the Full size DS Lab a couple hours west, but it'll do.

Good time

Had a killer time at brooklyn this year. Got to see everyone I only get to see if you times a year. Vendor thanks man I really owe you having us over and food and beer was awesome and thanks for hooking me up with tools in a lift to fix my bike. J it is always a good time with you around even so your balls are out all the time. Fingers it was great to hear you had your own rap battle. Benji the wine was delicious. Josh it's good to see you and j  still playing big spoon or little spoon. Thanks q j and rob 4 letting us crash in the room it was a symphony of snores. Clark I know you had a rough weekend but is never the same without u. Chris friday night rules  tell the wife I'm sorry about beating on the door. Jason brian is always good seeing you guys out. Sorry if I forgot anyone this is just too much spelling for me can't wait to see you all again

brooklyn trip

rode my cb750 to brooklyn this weekend, 725 miles roundtrip, mostly solo. rode halfway home with the easyend guys. got to hang see some people i dont get to see very often, went to the invitational, got to ride through manhattan, and ate some awesome food. it a was a good time with some great people.
